In this virtual conference hosted by The Pacific Community (SPC), decision-makers, development partners, research institutions and civil society organizations came together to discuss progress and action-oriented strategies and recommendations needed to achieve gender equality and women's rights throughout food system value chains.
On Tuesday, 27 April 2021, WorldFish in the Pacific hosted a Triennial Program side event titled “Women of the land and sea,” bringing in diverse voices from Timor-Leste to the Solomon Islands on empowering women fish workers and traders with the support and resources needed to build their resilience and capacity in a COVID-19 world.
