The 2DI Blue Challenge is an initiative that connects science, industry, policy and finance to take the leap forward into a climate-resilient future. Through multi-stakeholder consultations, the event identified key interventions where aquatic foods can play a bigger role in building resilience of fisheries and aquaculture dependent communities, and putting food systems on a low emissions pathway.
It called on stakeholders from government, multilateral organizations, civil society, community-led organizations, research or academic institutes, businesses, SMEs, and finance, in the Great Lakes (Eastern and Southern Africa), South and Southeast Asia, and Pacific Small Island Developing States (Pacific).
