The Two Degree Initiative (2DI) led by the CGIAR connects science, civil society, industry, policy, and finance to take the leap forward into a climate-resilient future. The Blue Challenge is one of nine global challenges and focuses on three hotspots for collaborative action and investment.
Three online consultations were held earlier this month for stakeholders in Africa, Asia and the Pacific. The last step of this stakeholder engagement process is to meet across the regions in a global consultation to define priorities for a research for development (R4D) agenda of the Blue Challenge.
The objective of this global consultation is to explore opportunities for partnering and investing and co-creating a research for development (R4D) agenda to enhance the resilience of fisheries and aquaculture dependent communities and put aquatic food systems on a low emissions pathway.
