In the recent Aquaculture Europe 2021, aquaculture sector and food system experts explored the benefits of sustainable aquaculture production in addressing issues of food, nutrition and income security in the European Union.
On Tuesday, 5 October 2021 at 15:00 (UTC+8), WorldFish’s Global Lead in Nutrition and Public Health Shakuntala Thilsted joined the session on ‘Diversification of aquatic food systems: Oceans of Opportunity for nourishing nations.’ She delivered the keynote address on nourishing people and planet by harnessing the power of aquatic foods from diverse waterbodies.
