The online international Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 saw the launch of a comprehensive Adaptation Action Agenda that sets out clear commitments and deliverables for strategies and partnerships to address the most pressing international challenges and solutions for climate change.  

Hosted by the government of Netherlands, the summit convened global leaders and local stakeholders across the globe to connect initiatives, solutions and challenges to build back better and accelerate a global adaptation action towards food systems transformation and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

During the opening of the summit, CGIAR Executive Management Team Convener and Managing Director for Research Delivery and Impact, Claudia Sadoff, launched the new CGIAR 10-Year Strategy for transforming food, land and water systems in a climate crisis.
