Dr. Ferroni will introduce the new CGIAR System 3-year business plan which features 5 themes and 15 potential ‘big ideas’. He will then further elaborate the role of FISH CRP in the newly drafted business plan and how it integrates within in the coming future..

Speaker's Biography:
Dr. Marco Ferroni is the chair of the CGIAR System Management Board and former executive director of the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture. He had previously worked for the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank and the Swiss government. Dr. Ferroni holds an Agricultural Economics Doctorate from Cornell.
