The half-day summit brought together experts from business and investment, government, academia and multilateral institutions to discuss the future of sustainable and productive food systems in Africa.

Hosted by SSCG, a global management and strategy consulting firm, the discussions identified innovative pathways for growth, investment and public-private collaboration to boost agribusinesses. 

WorldFish’s Climate Change Program Leader, Essam Yassin Mohammed, drew on his work on aquatic food systems to discuss scaling up innovations to strengthen the climate-resilience and sustainability of different value chain actors during Session 2.
