In this Pre-Summit Main Programme Session on ‘The triple challenge of meeting food, climate and biodiversity goals,’ hosted by WWF, key UN Bodies and other influential partners, experts working across the UN Food Systems Summit 5 Action Tracks came together to explore solutions for addressing food and nutrition security with sustainable, resilient food systems in a changing climate.
WorldFish’s Global Lead in Nutrition and Public Health, Shakuntala Thilsted, joined the expert panel, drawing on her expertise as Vice Chair of the Summit’s Action Track 4 on ‘Advancing Equitable Livelihoods,’ to present her insights on sustainable, healthy aquatic foods, from oceans to inland waterbodies, to nourish nations within planetary bounds.
