A second public forum to present the solutions to food systems transformation in achieving the 2030 Agenda.

On the road to the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit, the Action Track 4: Equitable Livelihoods presented new innovative ideas that they have been collecting from over the past two months since the first public forum, to transform the livelihoods of the vulnerable people facing COVID-19 challenges. 

Hosted by CARE, this second public forum engaged with audience on how to scale up the existing ideas to ensure equity, accessibility and inclusivity throughout different points of the food systems value chains.

WorldFish’s Research Program Leader, Value Chains and Nutrition, Shakuntala Thilsted, is the Vice-Chair of the UN Food Systems Action Track 4: Equitable Livelihoods leadership team and has been actively working to lead the research and innovation in food security, nutrition and value chains in Asia, Africa and the Pacific.
