WorldFish 80th Board of Trustees meeting held from 15 to 18 November 2019 at Bioversity headquarters, Rome, Italy. The Board’s primary mission is the setting of policy ensuring the achievement of the Center’s stated goals and objectives within the mandate of the CGIAR System as well as to ensure both of the scientific excellence of the Center and the relevance of the Center’s work for its partners and beneficiaries.

Parallel with WorldFish 80th Board of Trustees Meeting is also the 60th Audit Committee and 32nd Governance Committee meeting. The Audit Committee is responsible to assist the Board in fulfilling its fiduciary responsibilities relating to the WorldFish risk management, accounting, investment, internal control, and reporting practices while the Governance Committee, among many of the responsibilities, is to monitor the performance of Board and provide council to the Board Chair.
