Working in the development sector for ten years. Worked with IUCN Bangladesh, CARE Bangladesh, ActionAid Bangladesh and now in WorldFish Bangladesh. Experienced mostly in qualitative research, learning documentation, market systems, women's rights and gender. Active in writing articles in online platforms of Bangladesh on gender issues. Worked based at the field level for first three years of career, and last seven years is based in Dhaka. Leadership experience includes leading Feminist Leadership Forum of ActionAid Bangladesh for two years focusing on team work using cultural tools. Now working a Gender and Youth Specialist in Feed the Future Bangladesh Aquaculture and Nutrition Activity of WorldFish Bangladesh. Major responsibilities include developing Gender and Youth Inclusion Strategy for the project and ensure smooth implementation of it through Private Sector and NGO partners with interventions for inclusive growth of aquaculture sector of Bangladesh.
