The 14th Asian Fisheries and Aquaculture Forum (14AFAF) is a scientific forum organized by the Asian Fisheries Society (AFS) once every three years to understand global trends and address issues and challenges faced by the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

The main purpose of this Forum is to provide an international platform for eminent scientists, young researchers, and other stakeholders across the globe to share their research experiences and innovative ideas. Through the exchange of diverse knowledge and expertise, the Forum with the theme ‘Greening the Blue Growth in Asia-Pacific’ aims to address key issues towards developing sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.

WorldFish Participation:

  • This flagship event in the Asia-Pacific region offers a regional focus that underscores the importance of sustainable fisheries and aquaculture development.
  • WorldFish’s long-standing presence in the region directly aligns with our commitment to supporting the region's potential as a powerhouse for aquatic food production, and with this year's event being hosted in India, it offers an opportunity for our Country Office to continue building partnerships.
  • As an active participant in previous AFAF forums, catch us at this year's events and engagements.
