Human Resources Generalist (Temporary)

Under the supervision of the HR Manager, the post holder will support activities related to implementation of payroll system, audit, and cleaning and migration of HR data.

The Successful Candidate will:

  • Compile and update HR audit documents and safekeeping the documents / information in a systematic order to ensure compliance with HR audit requirements.
  • Verifying salary and benefits payment data in HR documents against Finance Report. Prepare analysis document in a systematic order.
  • To support in the payroll system roll-out in country offices (support in set-up, data entry, testing, reconciliation and trial run).
  • To support in implementing a central global repository for key statutory documents.
  • Verify and clean up personnel data in HR database to enable accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure updated staff competencies, expatriate passport and visa information are filed in HR database.
  • Support document migration process (migration and renaming of personnel files in HR database).
  • Provide admin support on the day-to-day HR operations.

Requirements

This job might be for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:

  • A Diploma in any field of study.
  • Preferably 2 years’ relevant working experience in data management and audit, either in Finance or HR.
  • Meticulous, has good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Matured and reliable in handling confidential data and information.
  • Proficient in English language, both in written and verbal communications.
  • Great team player and good in collaboration with stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Experience in payroll, compensation & benefits will be an added advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience in using ERP software system would be an advantage.

Time Frame and Location

This post holder will be based in Penang, Malaysia. Interviews are expected to be held in early July 2021 and only shortlisted candidate will be expected to attend the virtual interview session. The successful candidate should be available to commence by middle of July 2021 for a 1 year temporary contract.
