The smallholder fish farmer population census data was collected from 1,161 farmers in four districts of Northern Province of Zambia. A structured questionnaire was administered to the respondents and responses were recorded on an android device (smart phone), and sent to server owned by Musika, the project partner. Data was collected from October 2018 to March 2019. The study was undertaken by the Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training for Improved Private Sector and Smallholder Skills Project in Zambia with support from NORAD. It was carried conducted as part of the CGIAR Research Program on Fish under Sustainable Aquaculture program.
