Aquafeeds is arguably the most topical issue in the advancement of the aquaculture sector in Africa. It is estimated that Africa is presently consuming over 100 million tons of aquafeeds per annum, which makes this a key cost and supply driver to the sector. Across Africa, access to and affordability of aquafeeds is often seen as a major constraint to aquaculture development.
This important discussion, with an exciting panel of global leaders and leading sector experts, explored the challenges and opportunities in advancing the affordability, accessibility and inclusivity of African aquafeeds.
