Context:

The Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) has established the Blue Economy Center as one of its key entities in driving knowledge transfer programs through relevant research projects, aligned with the Ministry of Higher Education’s aspiration to make universities a platform for community engagement.  Given UMT’s focus on marine science and aquatic resources, we believe that our expertise and strengths can significantly contribute to the development of Blue Economy policies at both national and international levels.

UMT intends to organize a Roundtable Discussion themed Driving Economic Growth through Blue Economy in Malaysia as a platform for exchanging ideas and opinions on Blue Economy research, which will catalyze enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the industry.  This discussion will involve various stakeholders, including government agencies, the private sector, and other relevant parties, to foster a more inclusive and balanced Blue Economy agenda.

We look forward to your active participation.
