Hilary Wild has extensive international experience in finance, organizational management, governance, and risk management as a portfolio non-executive director. She has been involved with the CGIAR since 2010 as a board member of several centers, as well as of the CGIAR System Board and Audit, Finance, and Risk Committee.
Hilary’s other roles include trustee of WaterAid UK, Medical Aid for Palestinians and ClientEarth, chair of the Church Commissioners Audit and Risk Committee, and member of the Oversight Advisory Committee of FAO and the Advanced Agriculture and Food Advisory Panel of CSIR in South Africa.
Her previous roles include Chief Financial Officer of the World Health Organization, overseeing the financial management of its operations in 140 countries. She has held roles in investment banking and asset management with the Kleinwort Benson Group and was Chief of Finance for UNICEF in New York. She has chaired oversight committees for the United Nations Development Programme, International Labour Organization, and UNESCO.
Hilary is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
