Israt Zahura is working for IDEA project as a Training Specialist. Previously she worked for  Ecofish-Bangladesh project as a training Specialist. She has a strong academic background in Fisheries science and Personnel Management. Israt Zahura has over 25 years of experience in managing training programme as Training Specialist under a number of reputable international development organizations and gathered hands-on experience in designing of training programs, module preparation, materials development, course coordination, facilitation, monitoring & evaluation and impact assessment in social and development sectors. She has proven experience in maintaining liaison with a wide range of stakeholders from grassroots to policy level. Her excellent working experience in right based issues to support women empowerment and underprivileged children. She gained adequate knowledge in project development to address social, economical and technical aspects. She has a proven    skill in developing training tools i.e. training manuals, modules, Guide books, visual aids, Video documents etc. for different target groups and a hands on learning with a very good concept of different tools and techniques of PLA, PRA and RRA.

She has joined in WorldFish in 2011.
