Postdoctoral Fellow
Sabrina Hossain is a postdoctoral fellow with WorldFish in Bangladesh. She holds a doctorate in preventive veterinary medicine with an aquatic animal medicine major and a Master's degree in fisheries management.
She has published more than 40 articles in reputable journals on the characterization of pathogenic factors, antimicrobial resistance profiles and integron gene cassettes in bacteria isolated from various aquatic animals, as well as the antimicrobial activity of essential oils on fish-pathogenic bacteria.
She served as a teaching assistant for three years and occasionally delivered lectures for undergraduate-level courses on aquatic animal medicine in South Korea. Her interests include One Health and antimicrobial resistance.
