A conference exploring key policy windows to drive meaningful progress on gender equality, including by influencing governments, convening diverse stakeholders, and amplifying the work of grassroots partners and Young Leaders.
Date: Monday-Thursday, 17-20 July 2023
Women Deliver is a leading global advocate that champions gender equality and the health and rights of girls and women, in all their intersecting identities. Through our advocacy, we drive investment — political and financial — to improve the lives of girls and women worldwide. The organization harnesses evidence and unites diverse voices to spark a commitment to gender equality. Anchored in sexual and reproductive health, we advocate for the rights of girls and women across every aspect of their lives.
Key policy windows include: the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the World Health Assembly (WHA), the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), International Youth Day (IYD), the UN Climate Conference (Conference of the Parties; COP), the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), and Women Deliver Conferences.
The vision, theme, and objectives of the Conference were selected by the WD2023 Advisory Group, in consultation with over 5,000 advocates — spanning 166 countries, generations, and sectors — who participated in design sprints and Women Deliver’s Global Community Consultation.
