The AFRAQ2021 hosted and organized by the Government of Egypt, WorldFish and partners brought together local and international aquaculture researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and other stakeholders to discuss the latest research on sustainable aquaculture to boost food, nutrition and income security under the theme 'Sustainable Aquaculture - Feeding Africa.'
As part of our commitments to AFRAQ21, WorldFish took part in a number of key sessions, oral and poster presentations and trade exhibitions to showcase our research, technology and innovation in sustainable aquaculture production, in relation to the WorldFish's '2030 Research and Innovation Strategy' and CGIAR's initiative in 'Resilient Aquatic Foods for Healthy People and Planet,' to improve social, economic and environmental challenges in Africa.
