The link between agriculture, health, and nutrition is central to achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) and addressing the global nutrition crisis. Despite the recognition of this intersection, coordinated policy action remains a challenge. A comprehensive approach to policies that address food systems, agriculture, public health, and nutrition is necessary to improve the health outcomes of populations, particularly in developing regions.
The Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (ANH) Academy is a global community of interdisciplinary researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working on agriculture and food systems for improved nutrition and health, with over 12,000 members in 160+ countries, over 65% of whom are in Africa or Asia. The ANH Academy Week aims to foster knowledge exchange, innovation and learning around interdisciplinary ANH research.
