
WorldFish held a special Fish4Thought, its knowledge-sharing event series, to celebrate the 2025 International Women’s Day to recognize and raise awareness on the contributions of women in aquatic food systems.
The event brought together leading scientists who work at the intersection of social inclusion, food security and climate change research in fisheries and aquaculture across Asia, Africa, the Pacific, and Latin America, to share their insights and experiences:

A donor perspective on gender-responsive implementation in aquatic food systems was also featured, led by:
