The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NOR) puts Norway's foreign aid policy into practice, and aims to alleviate chronic poverty while helping to build sustainable and robust economies in the developing world. NOR works to promote peace and security, an international legal system, an economically just world order and sustainable development.  It finances humanitarian assistance and helps the international community meet future global humanitarian challenges.
