Scientist

Jessica Fuller is an interdisciplinary scientist working on ecosystem conservation with the Sustainable Aquatic Food Systems Group at WorldFish. Jessica is currently leading Work Package 4 of the AABS project, focusing on incentives for coastal conservation and sustainable fisheries management. She holds a PhD in sustainable coastal development from the University of Bergen in Norway. 

Jessica has a background in integrated coastal and ocean management and fisheries management policy. Before joining WorldFish, Jessica worked as a senior expert in sustainable ocean governance at Grid-Arendal where she managed projects on ocean governance in areas beyond national jurisdiction, and project development on ecosystem-based management for ocean and coastal systems. Prior to her time at Grid-Arendal, Jessica worked as a technical consultant with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Italy where she supported work for regional fisheries bodies in northwest Africa and fisheries management in areas beyond national jurisdiction.
