Scientist
Serge Dossou is an aquaculture scientist specializing in fish feeds and nutrition. His research focuses on developing sustainable feed ingredients and diets for the aquaculture industry in Asia and Africa. He holds a PhD in Aquatic Animal Nutrition from the University of Kagoshima in Japan.
Before joining WorldFish, Serge worked as Research Unit Manager at Skretting Aquaculture Research Group in Japan from 2019 to 2023. In this role, he led the development of research facilities and collaborated on projects to optimize feed formulations and raw ingredients utilization for seabream and yellowtail species. Prior to that, he was a Technical Assistant at the Global Water Partnership (GWP) in Benin, where he advised local governments on integrated water resources management. Serge is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and he is fluent in French and Japanese.
