Shafiq Rheman is a WorldFish scientist in Bangladesh. He did his postgraduate studies in aquaculture at Ghent University, Belgium. As a Commonwealth Fellow, he acquired a second postgraduate degree in estuarine and coastal science and management from the University of Hull, UK. 

He has over 15 years of experience in this industry and has authored several publications in various journals. His publications reflect his research interests in One Health, antimicrobial resistance and aquaculture.
