Sourabh Dubey (PhD) is an interdisciplinary researcher specializing in aquaculture, fisheries, and environmental research, dedicated to developing sustainable and climate-resilient solutions for coastal and inland communities. With a Master’s in Zoology from the University of Calcutta (India) and a PhD from Vidyasagar University (India), he has spent over a decade driving impactful research and policy interventions.

Dr. Dubey’s expertise spans climate-resilient aquaculture, mangrove conservation, integrated coastal zone management, community-based minor irrigation, organic shrimp certification, and institutional development. His professional journey has been deeply shaped by life in the Sundarbans, the world’s largest transboundary mangrove-tiger ecosystem.

Dubey has worked across academia, government, and international organizations, including the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences, the Marine Products Export Development Authority (Govt. of India), the International Water Association (IWA), the Water Resources Investigation & Development Department (Govt. of West Bengal) and other international consultancy firms. 
Beyond science, Dr. Dubey is a passionate traveller and photographer, capturing the intricate connections between people, nature, and biodiversity.
