Steve Korir is an oversight and integrity specialist with over 15 years of experience in ethics, investigations, compliance, and internal audit. He began his career in the private sector at EY before moving into the development and humanitarian sector, where he has led efforts in anti-corruption, fraud prevention, workplace investigations, and organisational compliance.

As Director of Ethics and Business Conduct, Steve leads the ethics function for the Tripartite Partnership between WorldFish, IRRI, and IWMI. His mandate includes strengthening ethics and integrity systems across the three centres through policy development, training, confidential advisory services, and misconduct investigations.

Steve is a certified fraud examiner and holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Management. He is also accredited as a CISA, CRMA, CIA, and ACCA.
