Timothy Manyise is a scientist specializing in impact assessment to support evidence-based decision-making in aquatic and agrifood systems. He applies mixed methods and systems thinking to evaluate the performance of WorldFish innovations and assess the impact of interventions. His research focuses on understanding the drivers of change and identifying leverage points where policy development and investments can enhance sustainability, equity, and resilience in aquatic food systems.

Timothy holds an Erasmus Mundus Joint MSc in Rural Development (IMRD) from Ghent University and a PhD in Agribusiness Management & Organizations from Wageningen University & Research, where he examined how value chain partnerships in low-income markets organize to support sustainability outcomes in agrifood systems.
