In the face of a deepening climate crisis, WorldFish recognizes the unparalleled potential of aquatic food systems to reshape our approach to global food systems.
Capable of sustainably nourishing billions, these systems offer an evidence-based, climate mitigating solution to overcome the challenges with land-based agriculture. At COP28, our focus, as a leading international research organization working to transform aquatic food systems to reduce hunger, malnutrition, and poverty, is to highlight the untapped potential for sustainable aquatic food to be pivotal in addressing climate challenges and ensuring global nutrition and prosperity.
