Four Senior Officers from the Government of Odisha, India, undertook an official visit to WorldFish on 5 November 2019, for the one-day workshop, Maximizing Nutritional Outcomes from Fisheries and Aquaculture in Odisha.

WorldFish was delighted to host the 4th Master Class in Agricultural Research Leadership and Management, organized by The Crawford Fund in conjunction with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) from 3 to 8 November 2019 at WorldFish headquarters, Penang, Malaysia.
With over 25 participants from 16 countries, the course aims to introduce the skills and practices required to manage and lead successful R&D and extension programs for agricultural research systems that support the development needs of countries globally.
Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg has established a High-level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy, endorsed by the United Nations and G7 countries. To showcase the best scientific knowledge in the field and contribute substantively to the work of the High-level Panel, leading experts will come together at the associated Science for Ocean Actions conference to identify challenges and opportunities for the sustainable management of biological marine resources in different regions of the world.
