The WIOMSA Symposium is a pivotal event for WorldFish and the Asia–Africa BlueTech Superhighway (AABS), spotlighting project activities and outcomes across the Western Indian Ocean (WIO). As a convening space for governments, scientists, fisheries stakeholders, and development partners, it provides a vital platform to exchange knowledge, shape policy, and scale solutions for sustainable ocean management.

WorldFish @ UN SB62 Climate Conference (Bonn)

The Bonn Climate Change Conference 2025, encompassing the 62nd sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI). This mid-year meeting serves as a critical platform for technical negotiations and policy development, setting the stage for COP30 in Belém, Brazil, later in the year.

The Agriculture, Nutrition and Health (ANH) Academy is a global community of interdisciplinary researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working on agriculture and food systems for improved nutrition and health, with over 12,000 members in 160+ countries, over 65% of whom are in Africa or Asia. The ANH Academy Week aims to foster knowledge exchange, innovation and learning around interdisciplinary ANH research.

Universiti Putra Malaysia's I-AQUAS is organizing a seminar on Responsible Aquaculture. Co-organized by James Cook University Singapore, and sponsored by WWF Malaysia at the Rashdan Baba Auditorium in UPM Serdang, the seminar aims to promote sustainable aquaculture practices, focusing on responsible fish farming, sustainable feed, biosecurity certification, and current trends in the aquaculture industry.
